Recently released 2013 Ford C-Max Energy plug-in hybrid has been announced as ?America?s most fuel-efficient hybrid? by Ford with 2.35L/100km fuel consumption official figure that Ford says is around 0.15L/100km better than previous record holder from Toyota the Prius Plug-in Hybrid. This has come as a surprise as Ford was expecting to match Prius fuel consumption figure with estimated 2.8L/100km.
